When you think of this as a "win-once a year" approach to Windows 10, it's easy to see why. It's just not working.

Update: Microsoft has been working on ways to fix the issue by offering a new product update.

Update 2: In early November, Microsoft announced that customers would get a second version of Windows 10 early next year. There's no word yet on how early Microsoft will be announcing that, but we'll probably get a good look.

The State Department spokesman, John Kirby, told reporters in Washington on Tuesday the latest information came from the U.S. military's National Security Council, where a delegation of more than 40 U.S. military personnel and officials met with top officials from the United Nations and the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons.

Kirby said the State Department was investigating the matter, but said he could not give further details.
