We've been impressed with the new Apple AirPods, and we'll be checking back in with Apple on more.

Check out the full list of new AirPods below.A new study finds that some of the most extreme cases are actually a symptom of other problems (see sidebar at left). In fact, some people may not even be aware of how severe they are. (Not that those who don't have to think about it are doing anything but doing what they're told)

In fact, the researchers write, "There is very little evidence that extreme cases of chronic brain damage can be a cause of schizophrenia in general." They then look at the literature to see if there is a correlation between the types of brain damage and what treatment they take.

There is one problem with this, though: the studies have been done in animals. The brain is an amazing machine, and it's incredibly hard to get people to think about how serious they may be. I'm not sure how you can possibly treat a person with brain damage without seeing them as a symptom. (It's an interesting idea.) But this particular study did find that some people had "significant increases in the number of neurons that were involved in a number of the most fundamental brain functions."

In other words, people had a "significant increase in the number of neurons that were involved in a number of the most fundamental brain functions."

This seems like a pretty big deal — it's been known for a while that most people who have severe brain damage are actually in the middle of something really bad. And that's a big deal, because what's at the root of it is the fact that a person's brain is incredibly complicated.
