On the campaign trail, Trump has frequently spoken about the power of internet companies to influence the outcome of the election. But he's also been accused of using such technologies to help Trump win. "It's a lot of things that are going on to change the world," he said.
In a recent interview to French television, Trump defended hacking of the Clinton campaign server which was not the work of foreign hackers known as Fancy Bear. "[It] may have been one of the things that the Russians were interested in," he said.
But he also has a lot of problems with the US intelligence community. On October 27, he said that the Obama administration had "made a mess" with the intelligence community on the use of its Patriot Act and National Security Letters, and that the intelligence community was doing things that were "very, very, very dangerous."
Trump said on October 28 that he and his administration had asked the FBI to look into what was done to Russia. He continued to say that the "intelligence community has a very strong view" on what was done to Russia.
He said on December 10 that he and his administration had asked the NSA to look at the NSA's surveillance of the "internet," and had not received a response. He also said that the NSA was not investigating Trump's campaign.
