There are also concerns that the update may run into problems with the Windows Store. On Windows 8.1, there is no way to access the Windows Store from a Windows Store account. If your computer has an Internet connection, but does not have the ability to access the Internet, you will probably need to download a new software installation tool, or upgrade your Windows 10 account. A fix is also needed for Internet Explorer 10 support.

The company has made no specific recommendations for how the update should be applied to affected users. However, Windows 10 has been plagued by numerous technical problems, so Microsoft has decided to move forward with a comprehensive fix for those affected. What's Next for Windows 10 October 2018 Update?

If everyone who has been following Windows 10.1 has their hands full, the company plans to roll out the October update for all Windows 10 users. While the rollout started at 9:30 a.m. EST on Tuesday, there is still no official date yet for the update to roll out. Windows 10 October 2017 should hit Windows Store on Oct. 27.
