For now, the project is just a curiosity experiment and an opportunity to talk about how this kind of research, in the real world, can change the way we think about cats. It is a bit like a lab study — it is the kind of study in which scientists are trying different things to figure out if they can actually see different things, or if they are really trying to see what the world really looks like.
It's hard to say what will happen if you do something like this. The lab may be able to figure out how to put people in a particular situation, or how to get humans into situations they have no idea they might be in. But there's a lot of room for experimentation, especially in the realm of neuroscience. Here, it's not just animal behaviors but also human behavior.
This week, the National Science Foundation (NSF) published a paper in Nature Neuroscience that shows that the cat tongue is not just a sensory experience. It is also an emotional sensation. Researchers at New York University have developed a way to take the sensory and emotional responses of cats and translate them into novel ways to treat them.
The study is published online today in Nature Neuroscience.
The team has used an electroencephalogram (EEG) to learn how to interpret the cat tongue. The EEG signals signal, also known as the "pulse amplitude," is a way of measuring how far away the cat is when it is in the cat, and how quickly it leaves the cat's mouth.
The researchers used a computer simulation to model the cat tongue. The cat tongue is a small, plastic tube that is made from one of three materials: rubber, nylon, and plastic. The researchers then applied a voltage-controlled stimulator to control the cat tongue.
