The new dark theme will support dark themes of varying shades, but you'll need to download and install them first. We've already seen the latest update of Windows 10, which is already in the works, as well as the recent update of macOS, which adds new color schemes for both the dark and light colors.

Microsoft is also looking to extend its existing partnership with the likes of Apple. In 2015, Microsoft announced a partnership with a third party company, CyanogenMod, to provide free CyanogenMod apps to users. This was the first CyanogenMod app to be included with macOS in Windows 10, and the app was released for free in November 2015. In the past, Windows 10 has also been available for free on the PC, as well as the iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch, all of which use the software to customize its display.

Microsoft is also partnering with LG to provide free Android and iOS apps on the Mac App Store. These apps will work with Windows 10 and the Windows Store on Windows 10 Mobile, with the Mac App Store being the first app to be available that uses the service to integrate it with Windows 10. Microsoft hopes to use Android and iOS apps on Windows 10 in the future to provide more user-friendly and better-supported experiences.
