The crew members left the station without any problems or any signs that SpaceX had crashed.

That is hardly the most telling of all. It was less than a week after SpaceX announced that it had successfully completed the first stage of the manned Dragon capsule.

SpaceX is only the third company to get a stage, and it appears it has been successful. The first was SpaceX's Falcon Heavy rocket, which was originally designed to carry two astronauts to the International Space Station, but later switched to two to carry four and six astronauts to the Dragon.

One of those five astronauts went on to complete a trip to Mars, and it was SpaceX's first manned mission to carry a crew. The most likely scenario, for the Dragon is that when it launches, the ISS will be the last one of its kind.

The International Space Station had been a test bed for NASA's human cargo space program, and NASA's Space Launch System was the first to carry astronauts to the station. However, the Space Shuttle, which was built with NASA's Commercial Crew program in mind, was a disappointment. NASA's Commercial Crew program was cancelled because of delays in its launch from the International Space Station.

The Dragon was able to perform its first landing attempt, when the spacecraft successfully landed in the International Space Station. There was no word on when the Dragon would land, but the astronauts at the station had already spent several hours on the ground as the station's first astronauts.
