On Monday, the company also removed Jones' "Facts" section from several of its videos.

The removal of the podcast was announced by YouTube earlier in the day after a slew of YouTube personalities, including the founder of the controversial YouTube channel Myspace , filed a formal complaint with the YouTube investigation team.

The "facts" section of Jones' video, which was removed from multiple YouTube channels, features a clip of Jones discussing his controversial views on abortion and gay marriage.

As of Monday evening, Jones had already apologized for his comments.

"This is the first time I have ever made any sort of inflammatory remark about religion. I apologize for that," he said in a statement. "I am so deeply saddened and deeply disappointed by this decision."

The comments from Jones came less than a week after he claimed he took down a number of Infowars videos that he said were "disgraceful to the faith that I believe in."

On Tuesday, Infowars' David Weldon said he was "shocked and appalled" at the decision to delete the "Facts" section of the video.

And after being criticized for comments made on Infowars by former Infowars contributor and author Stephen Colbert, Colbert said in a statement that Twitter users and people who follow the conservative host's social media platforms "are making a dangerous mistake."

"I am appalled by this decision – and I am calling on all Twitter users to immediately delete these tweets. I will remain on Twitter until the law changes. The same law that allows people to post about politics is still on my side. I will not be silenced," Colbert said.

Jones' tweets were deleted, but the post has since been retranslated into a video he said he said he's taken down from Infowars.

The video was originally created by Infowars' founder Andrew "Shaq" Qutbuddin.

Jones' social media accounts have been under attack by trolls over their support for abortion rights and other issues.

On Monday, Infowars launched a campaign to delete the video. The latest installment of "In The News" takes a look at the recent shooting of a 14-year-old boy after he was allegedly sexually assaulted by a local gang member.
