In addition, new PS Move features, including the ability to shoot with the PlayStation Camera (a neat feature, but one that isn't particularly intuitive), also get a bump in price. (The game had initially been planned for its November 2016 release — PUBG is looking to launch on PlayStation 4 in the next few months — but is on the way out.)

So if you've been keeping tabs on PUBG's rumored PS4 preorder efforts, here are some additional details on PlayStation 4:

First, while PUBG is still early in its own game development process, the company's new game is slated to be rolled out on PS4 with some notable updates. The company hasn't released any details on gameplay or features yet, but it will likely be a free-to-play title if it's sold. You can check out some of the gameplay images below in the gallery that accompanies the announcement:

And, of course, there's another, more game-breaking, news-packed announcement for PUBG. According to a developer blog post made by developer Peter Dinklage, the company is going to support "several new game modes" for PS4. "The first of those is going to be a multiplayer mode that gives you the chance to explore different locations in a variety of challenges, all while on the go," wrote Dinklage. (The company also says they'll also be adding new, more detailed content to PUBG.)

PUBG co-founder Michael Wilson noted that he's already seen some of the game's multiplayer modes, including "tossing" a group of enemies onto his character's controller that will add challenges if he fails (the game is still in early development, but is in beta), and "an enemy that you can attack with a ranged weapon."

(To see the trailer, check out this post.)

Dinklage noted that the company also plans to launch "a new 'new multiplayer mode' that will be free to play with PlayStation Plus users."

PUBG is now making its way to Xbox One. "Xbox One is the first platform to support PUBG," said Dinklage. When we reached out for more information on the game, his company said the game is scheduled for release on March 8th.

Update, November 9: A few weeks ago, PUBG announced the game's new release date: December 7, 2016. It's now on Xbox Marketplace.
