Trump's order would allow internet service providers to throttle customers who do not pay their bills. In other words, the law will allow internet service providers to use internet data to "prevent or delay" traffic on their networks.

But the Obama administration, when it came to blocking net neutrality laws, did not want to give the internet service providers the same protections they had against the FCC's preemption orders.

After the US District Court for the Southern District of California approved the 2015 FCC broadband law, it blocked the Trump orders. In an effort to stop the repeal of the internet service providers' preemption orders, the White House reversed course and blocked the repeal of the net neutrality law on December 12, 2017.

So the internet service providers are still facing a legal challenge from the US District Court for the Eastern District of California. The US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit ruled this week that internet service providers have to be allowed to throttle the internet traffic of their customers.What if the most powerful and powerful of your allies were able to pull together a single, powerful force so that the whole world was the enemy of your enemies?
