"This morning, Sams had this very strong idea about what the launch title for the Xbox One and its next-gen console will be. We also know that the Xbox One E3 will be a massive event, and that fans will experience the games that are coming from Microsoft's next-gen console as they get to play them on their favorite platforms. This could be a milestone in the upcoming year for Microsoft and gamers worldwide, but it is certainly an exciting one.

"This is the same time that the Xbox One E3 will be a big event, since the upcoming game Halo 5: Guardians will be a major event for the company."

While Sams provided some interesting context for Sams' idea of what the launch title for the Xbox One and its next-gen console will be, it was clear that the Xbox One E3 will be a massive event.

As Sams' post suggested, Halo Infinite will feature an Xbox One version of "The Last Guardian," a game that Microsoft has said will make up the bulk of the game's content. Sams also suggested that a second generation of the game will feature "More Than One Weapon," which will include a second-generation of the Xbox One's "Sniper" mode, so that "More than One Weapon" will be available to all Xbox One owners. Halo Infinite will also be a "PlayStation 4-only title," and will feature a unique gameplay system for Halo 4.

The E3 rumor also suggests that Microsoft would be using a separate system for its next-gen console. After all, this rumor has so far been debunked as a fan-project rumor, making the story a bit of a ruse:

"We have several sources suggesting that the Sony PlayStation 4-only 'PlayStation 4-only' is going to be a Microsoft exclusive that will not be available on the Xbox One E3 2019. We need to be more clear on this: this is a rumor and we don't want to speculate on what it means when it comes to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but we will be sure to keep you updated on this as we get closer to the event. What we do know is an Xbox One E3 2019 exclusive is something we will be able to reveal as soon as possible."
