The only time we have seen the original Shenmue games

The only time we have seen the original Shenmue games are in the video game community, and I couldn't help but feel this was the best example of a truly original game. This is the same sort of thing where I was able to appreciate Shenmue III and the original Shenmue games at the same time, because they worked so well together.

Even though the original games have been updated to support modern video game platforms, Shenmue II has been updated, as has Shenmue III. The two most recent versions, both with a more modern and streamlined presentation, both feature more gameplay as opposed to an overly complex one. The difference is that there were no new characters. Instead, just a familiar character. This is what makes the original game so interesting—a game that is now as much about the original as it is about Shenmue.

Shenmue III will be released on April 21, 2014.

The biggest question here is how much of the success of Pokemon Go has come from the game's gameplay. We know that the game is a great way to do well for kids, but it can be problematic to see how kids take advantage of it. Is it hard for a 5-year-old to use a new app to play with a friend and make friends (because it's too easy for a 5-year-old to do so)? Or is learning a new app really a learning experience for the kids?

Our findings are based on a survey of over 400 young adults from across Canada, the U.S., China, Japan and the U.K. The findings are based on a 2-year, follow-up survey.

The results show a similar focus on the game's gameplay and a more relaxed environment for its members. In the survey, more than 50% of those who tried the game said they'd done something fun and interesting in school, compared to just under 40% of those who didn't play. These numbers may not be statistically significant, but are indicative of how much of a connection Pokemon Go has with the kids they play with.
