The Director has this to say about Quantum Leap:

"This is about a future where everything is possible. This is about the quantum leap, and it is about making decisions with no human intervention. Quantum Leap is about making decisions. That's the problem, the solution. It's about taking your time, making the right decisions, doing what you want. It's about your mind, your body, your psyche. It's about being conscious in your brain. It's about taking the time to do these things, and it's about being aware of those decisions. That's all. That's how it works. It's how a person's consciousness is, to use the phrase 'the quantum leap.'"

Of course, there's more to Quantum Leap than this. It brings back the lost memories of many of those who died in time. And it's also about the new technology that's going to make it possible for one of us to walk on the other side of the quantum leap and get back to where we were before, right now.

As for the Quantum Leap itself, it's an all-out quest to bring back the lost memories of all those lost. It's about a quest for the ultimate goal: the one you are able to achieve. It's about a quest for the perfect life, a perfect being, a perfect universe. The one that you've reached. And it's a journey that will never be over, never be forgotten.

In this case, we'll have the opportunity to stop this quest by sending a traveler back in time, not just during the time-travel saga, but in the Quantum Leap story arc as well. We'll have the chance to see if we can get there... and if we can, we'll know what to do with it all. And when it's all over, we'll have the chance to share our memories, and share our hope for finding a better future.

1.0 TrailerThe American League's most-watched game in the last two months fell to the bottom of the ratings for the last five months, in part because of a "lack of good news."
