In the end, a user said they paid $99.99 for the app and then had to pay the fee of 139 Euro. The app, which users were told will only show up once every five minutes, has been removed from the App Store, but Reddit users were reportedly given the opportunity to take a picture and post the app's contents on their Twitter feed.

Many users said they were encouraged by the app's privacy policy regarding its claims, and Reddit users pointed out that they were being charged for a full-scale scam like this one.
