PlayStation Blog describes the game as "part of the new 'Dreams' series with a new twist, a 'play, create, share' system for PS4, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One." It also adds that "the game will be 'multiplayer' and will allow players to play in their own teams, without any multiplayer options. No more 'cross-platform multiplayer' or 'interactive' in games like 'LittleBigPlanet.'"

While it sounds like the original "LittleBigPlanet" was a nice touch and a bit of a relief to get, it's also a little disappointing that this sort of thing doesn't appear on the PlayStation Store as a single release. We'd be remiss if we didn't mention that the game is available on Steam and Sony online now.

The PlayStation 3 game is available today for $29.99, but you probably won't get the full game for just that reason.
