However, Ubisoft is in no rush to sell more games on the service. "We are always looking to expand our game offerings to a greater audience," said Ubisoft's CEO, Yves Guillemot. "Over the last few years, we've seen some really great titles such as Grand Theft Auto V, Assassin's Creed Origins, and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. We've created a team that's dedicated to bringing our game to the widest possible audience."
The Division 2 will be released on April 4, 2015 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
Original Story: The New 'Avengers 3' Is A "Vault"-Style Game
When the series first launched on PC in 2013, it was an epic juggernaut. A year later the series was on the cusp of a major hit and was then followed by other big-name games such as the first movie in the franchise.
When the game launched, it featured a sprawling, action packed world with over 100 missions with over 10 playable characters, a unique combat system, a unique storyline and a wealth of new features. It was a major success and in 2016 Ubisoft released more than 1,000 more titles and brought in over $1 billion in revenue.
In 2017 Ubisoft revealed the game on Steam and launched an expansion pack. The game is set in a futuristic future where Earth is ravaged by a nuclear war and a vast number of alien species have begun to form colonies on a massive scale to take over the planet.
