Google said it "is investigating these issues to determine the truth about what happened" and that only "developers who inadvertently had access to this information are affected."The New York Times reported Wednesday that President Donald Trump's son-in-law and senior adviser, Jared Kushner, was "close to the White House's legal adviser, who has no official contact with the president."

Kushner, the Kushner name surfaced recently after it was reported that Trump had sought to avoid a conflict of interest by not disclosing his business dealings with Russian officials, has reportedly been asked by the White House lawyer, Marc Kasowitz, to step down on his own.

Kushner was told not to disclose that he was in contact with the White House lawyer until Tuesday, according to the Times. Kushner's attorney, Michael Cohen, told the Times that Kasowitz is "the person who met with" Trump in May on a business trip.

A senior White House official told the Times that the "official" contact between Kushner and Trump was that of a lawyer at the White House.

Trump's son-in-law, Jared Kushner, said during a campaign rally that he "did not have any idea about anything that would happen with Jared Kushner being president, but he was very close to the people there," CBS News reports.

The New York Times reported that Trump's son-in-law, Jared Kushner, has been under scrutiny for multiple conflicts of interest related to foreign business dealings, including the possible use of his own wealth to pay his legal bills.

In October, the Times reported that Kushner and his wife, Ivanka Trump, were a top candidate for a Russian-American lobbyist in the Trump Organization. The Times said that the company was lobbying for Russians who had interests in the U.S. during the 2016 election, and the company was "likely to be one of the first to learn about the potential use of Ivanka Trump's real estate assets to avoid potential conflicts of interest."The American Psychological Association (APA) has been one of the most influential organizations to combat the spread of child abuse.
